Carson's 1st Haircut!!

I couldn't wait any longer to get Carson's hair cut. He really needed his bangs cut for sure and I didn't want to cut those and not the rest of it. So I called my grandma and asked her if she would cut Carson's hair. She said she would give it a try. Carson doesn't like to sit still, she knows how active he is. But I thought it would be cool to have your great grandma cut your hair for the first time. It was a little bit of a challenge, he is so curious but she got it done and it looks great. He looks like a totally different kid. Chris was taking pictures and videotaping and I was trying to hold him still. He did not like the buzzer at all. He got scared by that but we were able to buzz a little bit towards the end. It is so cute, he has to be so much cooler now. I knew he had a lot of hair but my gosh. When we were done it looked like an adult just got their hair cut. I got almost a whole ziplock bag full of his hair.

Carson and his wagon full of blocks. He loves to go for rides around the house.

He loves his car. As soon as he gets in he is pretending he is driving, he steers and makes a car sound. As we are going he will put one arm out the window and have the other one on the wheel, just like his dad and grandpas.

This is the moring before his haircut. Look at all his hair!

What just happened, he is thinking!

All done and so so cute!

Photos

Well not to much is new with us. Carson is walking everywhere! It is so cute, he can't stand up by himself yet, so he crawls to something that he can pull himself up on and then takes off from there. Today and yesterday he is able to turn a little bit, otherwise he could only walk a straight line. As you can see from these pictures he loves to feed himself. I made stuffed shells for supper that night. I tried to feed him but he would have nothing to do with that so I cut one up and let him go. He loved it, spaghetti sauce was everywhere, needless to say he went straight to the tub!

All clean!

Carson loves to goes for rides on the lawn mower, of course we are never mowing when he is on there. He gets so excited when he sees anything that is big, loud, and moves. We could watch Chris mow the entire lawn, which is huge.

Carson 10 months.....bumps and bruises

I can't believe Carson is 10 months already. He is just growing up so fast. He doesn't even look like a baby anymore, he is a little boy. He is so dang cute. He really needs a haircut but I can't bring myself to do it. His bangs are in his eyes and his other hair is past his ears. It is so cute, especially when it is blowing in the wind. He has really cool hair, it kind of flips out at the ends, he is in style!! I am really going to try to wait until he is a year to cut it, I might have to trim his bangs though. Chris isn't going to cut his hair until I cut Carson's. Both of my boys will have long hair. Since Carson looks so much like me, this is Chris's way of looking like Carson:)
For the last couple of months Carson is crawling everywhere. He is getting really fast now. I have to keep everything out of his reach. He is pulling himself up on everything and walking around furniture. 1 day before he turned 10 months he took 3 steps! I wasn't even home to see his first steps, he was with his grandma so I guess its okay. A couple of days later, I got the day off from work so my mom, sister, my aunt and myself all went to the Cities shopping. I took Carson to daycare (which I felt really guilty about) 1/2 way through the day I get a call from our daycare lady and Carson was walking across the room! I guess that's what I get for going shopping and leaving him at daycare. Little stinker. He did walk to me when I got home. It was the cutest thing. He is just so little to be walking. He is going to keep me on my toes. He is so active, he doesn't sit still, always on the move.
He is so much fun. Loves to be outside, especially around the big tractors. Loves loud noises, he gets very excited when there is something loud, he has to go check it out. He is a very funny little boy. He is a lot like his dad. Always making me laugh and he laughs a lot too. I could go on and on.
Our internet at home isn't working. Our signal is blocked by something so until that is fixed I can't post any pictures. I will add pictures as soon as I can.
