Carson photo update

Carson is growing up so fast. I can't believe he is going to be 2 in about 2 months. It seems like we just celebrated his 1st birthday. He is very independant. He likes to do everything himself but is still very much a mama's boy, especially at night. He loves being a big brother, the only time he doesn't enjoy it so much is when he wants to go outside and Chase is awake so we can't go out that very second. He would spend the whole day outside if he could. He loves his swing set, riding his bike, blowing bubbles and doing chalk, going up by the barn and tractors, and of course playing in the water. There is just so much he can do at our house, sometimes there is too much space for him. I am running after him constantly. When playing in the house his favorite things are his tractors. He gets really creative with them and what he trys to hook up to them. He will hook up a baler, to a chopper, to his little monster truck. He will hook up his little plow to a really big tractor and vise versa. He is such a little farmer. One of his favorite places to go is the John Deere shop. He is in heaven there, all the lawn mowers and toys in there and the tractors outside. It was hard to get him out of there. He is so funny.

He loves to brush his teeth!

Carson sometimes like to lay on his toy box and drink his milk and rest.

If Carson is really tired he can fall asleep anywhere. As long as he has his blanket and milk.

Our new addition! Chase Joseph Stamm

Here he is!! And what a joy he is. Chase arrived Monday May 24th at 3:28 pm weighing 6lbs 9oz and 19 inches long.

Carson for the most part likes being a big brother. He likes to hold him and talk to him. Chase has a lot of hair that sticks straight up, very cute, and Carson likes to run his forehead or cheeks over his hair because it tickles. Chase also really likes Carson. It is cool to watch those 2 interact. Chase really watches Carson. Chase is a very happy baby and very smiley especially in the morning. He wakes up every 3 1/2 hours at night to eat and then goes right back to sleep. We have only had a couple of all nighters, can't complain. I can't believe he is 5 weeks old already. He is very very stong. He could hold his head up at the hospital and started rolling over at 3 weeks. I thought Carson grew up too fast but Chase is for sure. He is already trying to keep up with his big brother! I can tell already that I have 2 momma's boys, actually I knew right when Chase was born that he was a momma's boy. I love it! Here are a few pictures. I am really going to keep this updated. Enjoy!

My brother Jeremy graduated high school this May as well. I was actually due with Chase the day after his graduation. I figured that I would have him on Jeremy's graduation but luckly I didn't. Chris and I got married on his Junior Prom and he was on prom court, so I missed that. So I just figured I would miss his graduation too. Jeremy graduated on Friday night and Chase was born Monday afternoon.

Snow Fun

Like I have said before, Carson loves to be outside, the weather doesn't seem to bother him. So we get bundled up and head out to play, (I don't take him out if it is less than 20 degrees.) Last weekend was beautiful, not really sure of the temp but I think it was close to 40 on Saturday. Chris pulled him around in his sled and we made a snowman. We all had fun. Carson loves to walk around in the snow, play with his car, and loves, loves, loves the cat. He thinks it is so funny when the cat comes up to him and rubs up against him and wants to be petted. It is cute to watch them.
Not really sure if Carson really understands that we are having a baby yet or not. Randomly throughout the day he will come up to me, lift up my shirt and say baby and hug and kiss it. It is so adorable. We talk to him about it, but I think he is going to be in shock when the baby actually comes and stays with us. He is going to be a great big brother, I can tell already. He is very loving. It will be a big adjustment for all of us. Can't wait to know what we are having.

Before his much needed haircut.
